The Rocky Mountain Puppet Slam is jingling back this December for our first-ever Holiday Edition! We’re teaming up with Prismajic, Lakewood’s immersive speakeasy-art haven. (Secret entrance instructions await below.)
This year’s theme: cozy, holiday, fireside, and delightfully immersive.
Before the show, wander through the magical world of Shiki Dreams—a perfect pre-slam adventure. Grab a 5:45/6pm ticket on 12/20 and glide into the slam at 7:30pm.

What’s a Puppet Slam?
A dazzling night of short curated shows bursting with entertainment and whimsy. Prepare to be amazed by the astounding talent puppetry can bring to life! From hilarious hand puppets to haunting shadows, elegant marionettes to unexpected mythical creatures, this is puppetry at its most imaginative. So come on and join in on the imaginative magic that puppetry had to offer.
Directions to Prismajic’s The Night Owls Speakeasy
Park in the Burlington Lot on the backside of the Colorado Mills Mall. Walk to the exterior of Burlington on the right side toward the mall entrance and do not enter the mall. Look to the right as you are approaching the entrance and look for the red awnings over white unmarked double doors. Approach the doors and to the right side look for the gold buzzer. Buzz and someone will let you in!
