LGBTQ+ Perinatal Care Training
Why Attend?
Traditional medical practices often overlook the unique needs of LGBTQ+ individuals and families, leading to adverse outcomes and family dissatisfaction. This training addresses these gaps to help ensure more families receive competent and inclusive care.
Why It Matters:
25% of LGBTQ+ people in Colorado are raising children or expect to soon, with numbers projected to rise.
Honest, productive interactions with a more diverse client base lead to better health outcomes
When families feel seen, supported, and respected, you get to celebrate their healthier, happier lives.
What You’ll Gain:
Evidence-based, community-informed best practices
A non-judgmental, interactive learning environment
Insights from LGBTQ+ parents via a live panel discussion
Real experiences, tips & "wish list" directly from Colorado LGBTQ+ families!
Details:
Dates: April 10 & April 11
Time: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Virtual via Zoom)

Our vision is for every family to receive competent care anywhere in Colorado, including at your practice—join us in creating a more inclusive future for all families!
